Exploring the Dilemma of Trust For this exercise you need to think of three people you trust and three people you not trust. The individuals might be family members, friends, coworkers, or casual ac quaintances. On the worksheet provided, rate the level of trust you have for each son on a scale of 1 through 5, where i is a complete lack of trust and 5 very high level of trust. For each person, think about what makes you trust or distrust him or For example, is the person generally outgoing or secretive? whatextent does the son through on commitments?Next, think of experiences, good or bad, you had with each person that have influenced your level of trust. Try to remember as detail as possible the who, what, where, why, and when of the situation (s). After you have recorded the details for each person, identify commonalities in characteristics and experiences t have influenced your level of trust. For example, are you generally more or less trusting when dealing with family members or friends? trusting in particular situations (eg, work versus social)?
