Assignment #1 Journal Article Critique: The journal article critique is designed to familiarize you with research in group counseling. You may write about the efficacy of using group counseling for risk youths in inner cities. The paper should follow APA format including APA-style cover and reference pages. Also, please edit for spelling and grammar. Points will be deducted for grammatical errors. Papers that neglect to address all four areas outlined below in point #2 (a-d) will receive point deductions. Five (5) double-spaced pages using 12-point font and no extra spaces between paragraphs. The critique should include the following: a. A summary of the article. If it is a research-based article, include the hypothesis, desсrіption of the sample population, and method of collecting data and results. If it is not a research-based article, include the article’s major points/arguments and conclusions b. Perceptions of the article’s strengths and weaknesses c. What further research or investigation is needed in the topic area d. An explanation of how the article relates to the development of group counselors-in-training
